Administration Assistant

Fulwood Hall Hospital - Preston

37.5 hours per week

Summary:

Fulwood Hall Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading independent healthcare providers in England. The role:

Fulwood Hall Hospital are seeking an ideal candidate to provide an efficient, accurate and patient-focused inpatient booking service, ensuring admissions are scheduled appropriately in line with consultant availability, theatre capacity and clinical priorities.

Working as a key member of the bookings team, your role will include:- 

• Scheduling inpatient admissions in line with consultant schedules and theatre availability 

• Registering and updating patient details accurately on hospital EPR systems 

• Coordinating with consultants, ward teams, and theatre staff to ensure smooth admission processes 

• Communicating booking details clearly to patients and manage amendments, cancellations, and queries  

• Actively backfill cancellations in line with local policy 

• Ensuring theatre utilisation and capacity is maximised using power BI reporting  

• Accurate reporting of cancellations and identify trends and escalate to line manager when appropriate  

• Review PTL data and understand RTT pathways daily  

The success full candidate will be able to demonstrate:-

• Accuracy of patient bookings and records 

• Reduction in booking errors and cancellations 

• Patient satisfaction and responsiveness 

• Effective utilisation of theatre capacity
