Job Description - Administrator

Administrator & HR Assistant - opportunity at this small but established aerospace precision engineering company.

In the role of Administrator and HR Assistant, you will be integral to the company's success. Your primary focus will be on ensuring smooth office operations and you should have a positive attitude towards getting involved in all aspects of this small business. In addition the right person could also coordinate basic HR activities across a group of companies.(this part of the role could develop). We are looking for someone with organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and a welcoming personality to represent our firm with clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Oversee general office tasks including answering phone calls and managing HR-related paperwork and procedures (experience dependent).
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for visitors and clients, delivering a positive and professional experience.
  • Document Management: Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and presentations while maintaining organised records and files.
  • Coordination: Facilitate seamless communication between departments and assist with daily operational tasks.
  • HR Assistance: Provide support to senior teams with HR-related activities as needed.
  • Office Management: Contribute to a tidy and efficient office atmosphere, including managing supply orders and inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills coupled with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology.
  • A warm, friendly demeanour and a professional approach.
  • Capability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
