Job Description - Administrator

Are you a detail-oriented, proactive individual looking to grow your administrative career within a supportive and professional environment? We are working on behalf of our client, a not-for-profit organisation to recruit an Administrator to join their collaborative and dedicated commercial team. This position is based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Please note that due to the location, the site is not accessible via public transport, so access to your own vehicle is essential.

What’s on offer:
  • A salary between £24,500 to £25,000 depending on experience
  • A discretionary annual bonus based on company performance
  • 35 days' holiday including Bank Holidays and Christmas Shut Down
  • Earlier finishes on Fridays at 4pm
  • Free car parking

Your daily duties will be:
  • Administering the recruitment and retention of members, providing the data to the Commercial Manager
  • Preparing and issuing membership subscription letters with the Finance Manager
  • Supporting training course logistics, from booking through to claiming accreditation certificates
  • Issuing and managing member surveys and application packs
  • Maintaining accurate membership data in the CRM system
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve membership and finance queries
  • Answering and redirecting telephone enquiries professionally
  • Assisting with NVQ certificate claims for sister company
  • Taking on occasional special projects and supporting wider team admin tasks

As the Administrator, you will have:
  • Previous experience working within an administrative position
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Confident in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to a small, supportive team
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own transport (due to rural location)

As the Administrator, you'll be at the heart of the membership and training functions. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your role is varied and essential to ensuring members are supported and operations run smoothly.
