The National Online School are seeking an efficient Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support to the school helping to ensure the smooth and effective operation of core school systems and processes.
The National Online School Administrator will work closely with the School Business Manager and wider school teams to support administrative coordination, attendance processes and student support functions, contributing to effective communication across the school and ensuring processes are delivered accurately, consistently and in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
Based out of a central office in Wimbledon, our National Online School supports UK-based exceptional neurodiverse children and young people aged 7 to 19 who have special educational needs and disabilities typically associated with autism, social emotional and mental health needs and associated disorders. Most of them will have experienced multiple placement breakdowns and significant trauma, often resulting in emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), with significant periods out of education.
NOS support highly complex and vulnerable pupils, with highly differentiated and personalised holistic therapeutic education programmes developed for each pupil focusing on development milestones. Our universal, targeted and intensive therapeutic provisions allow young people to be supported with bespoke therapeutic input as well as allow consistent continuation of support in the home environment.
Essential requirements to be successful in the role are:
Relevant experience providing administrative support within education or similar environments.
Experience working with administrative systems, records and data.
Excellent written and verbal communication and research skills to be able to write reports and to communicate with stakeholders in a clear, meaningful and effective way.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to show initiative to assist in progressing issues and escalate to manager where support is needed.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Able to work with a team and coordinate their requirements on a remote basis.
Proactive, resilient learner, able to problem solve and make evidence based decisions.
