Location: Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre, Clapham, Bedfordshire, MK41 6AT

Salary: £27,315.24 per annum plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 40 hours per week- 8:30-4:30pm or 9am- 5pm (job share opportunity available- please confirm if you are seeking part time on your application)

As an Administrator in our Justice and Immigration team, you'll provide vital administrative support across several key functions that help safeguard the wellbeing, dignity and experiences of those in our care. You'll play an important role in ensuring information is accurate, actions are tracked, and services continue to operate effectively and compliantly.

Working closely with managers, colleagues and external stakeholders, you'll help ensure that important programmes and services continue to deliver positive outcomes while supporting a culture of trust, care and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do as an Administrator

• Provide administrative support across Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Welfare, Safer Detention and Violence Reduction functions.


• Produce reports, analyse data and maintain records to support operational performance, compliance and Home Office requirements.


• Monitor and maintain databases, action trackers, complaints information, safeguarding records and departmental documentation.


• Coordinate audits, dip checks, meetings and action plans, ensuring information is accurate and deadlines are met.


• Support the review and update of local procedures, instructions, communications and noticeboards.


• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, charities and partner organisations to maintain effective working relationships and support service delivery.

Does this sound like you?

• Experience in administration, reporting and data management within a busy and fast-paced environment.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce accurate reports and correspondence.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.


• Strong attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.


• Able to build positive relationships, work independently and demonstrate sound judgement when handling sensitive information.


• Experience of working with Power Bi is highly desirable.

Vetting and checks:

A Standard DBS check and CTC will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
