We are currently considering additional administrative support for one of our office-based teams. The role is initially expected to be for three months, with the potential for this to be extended or develop into a permanent position.
Role Details

Location: Spalding office – office-based

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
*
Start date: Mid-October / early November
*
Initial contract: 3 months, with potential for extension or permanent appointment
Person Specification
We are looking for an organised, reliable and commercially aware administrator who is comfortable working in a busy office environment and can provide effective support to the wider team.
The successful candidate will have:
*
Fluent spoken and written English
*
Strong general administrative skills and excellent attention to detail
*
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
*
Confidence working with figures, costings and financial information
*
Accurate and efficient data-entry skills
*
Experience working with an ERP system; experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be advantageous
*
The ability to process and maintain sales and purchase orders
*
Good organisational and coordination skills
*
The ability to manage tasks through to completion and meet deadlines
*
A proactive approach, with the confidence to communicate with colleagues and external suppliers
Key Responsibilities
The role will provide general administrative and coordination support to the team, including:
*
Processing and maintaining sales and purchase orders within the ERP system
*
Supporting with costings and other financially related administration
*
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data is entered correctly and promptly
*
Coordinating seed contract orders, from initial issue through to completion
*
Liaising with suppliers to ensure orders are processed correctly and payments are made on time
*
Monitoring outstanding orders and following up where required
*
Providing general administrative support to the team and wider office
*
Preparing and maintaining spreadsheets, reports and presentations as required
*
Supporting colleagues with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, numerate and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks while maintaining accuracy. They should be comfortable working with systems, figures and suppliers, and be confident communicating with both internal colleagues and external contacts.
Previous experience in an administrative, sales administration, purchasing, finance administration or coordination role would be beneficial Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
