Adult Social Worker - Locality Team

An established and forward-thinking local authority in the Orpington and Crays area is seeking an experienced and committed Adult Social Worker to join their locality team. Your new role
As a Social Worker within the Adult Services team, you will work across a broad range of adult social care needs. Your responsibilities will include managing complex caseloads, undertaking safeguarding enquiries, and developing person-centred support plans. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, based in a modern office with the flexibility of hybrid working.

You'll be joining a service undergoing significant transformation, with strong leadership, clear support structures, and a comprehensive two-week induction to help you settle in and succeed.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be registered with Social Work England
• Have recent experience in adult social care, including case management and safeguarding
• Demonstrate strong assessment and support planning skills
• Be confident in risk assessment and decision-making
• Possess excellent communication and partnership-building skills
• Be proficient in using IT systems for accurate and timely record-keeping
• Show a creative, person-centred approach to care planning
• Be able to work effectively with health services, voluntary organisations, and commissioned providers
• A satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will also be required.
