Level: 2
Location: Southampton
Department: The Advice Hub
Contract: Permanent
The National Hub is a place for individuals to thrive, embrace digital and deliver support to advisers and to our clients. The Hub is currently made up of 25 employed advisers and 8 Adviser Support Consultants that cover a wide range of clients and responsibilities. As the hub is continuously evolving and the adviser headcount increasing, an additional Adviser Support Consultant is required to support the new advisers.
You will work closely with your individually named advisers to offer a personable, fully supported service. This will involve building, developing and maintaining strong relationships with the advisers to enable them to be fully entrusted in the service provided. You will need to be able to adopt a one-on one approach with the advisers to establish their needs and identify pinch points.
Previous financial services experience is preferred, but full on the job training will be given making this a fantastic entry route into a career with Quilter.
In this role, you'll be responsible for various essential tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our financial services operations.
Your duties will include preparing client reviews, processing new business, and handling compliance and provider documentation for paraplanning. You'll also play a key role in obtaining fund values and information from providers, as well as collating and analysing client data.
One crucial aspect of your role will be to maintain the advisers' pipeline, ensuring it's consistently up to date and sufficiently recorded. You'll provide essential email support for advisers, becoming fully established with their clients and understanding their unique circumstances. Additionally, you'll need to manage and organise your own workloads effectively while maintaining strong communication with advisers, keeping them fully informed at every stage of the process.
To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess some prior knowledge or experience in the financial services industry. While working towards a Level 4 Diploma would be advantageous, it's not essential for this role. We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, coupled with strong written and telephone-based communication skills.
Being proactive and innovative in problem-solving is crucial, as you'll encounter various challenges in this dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is necessary to carry out your responsibilities efficiently.
If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data and communication tools, and is eager to contribute to the success of our team, we'd love to hear from you.
