What will you be doing? 

As a Project Management Officer, you will join our Derby team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector. Joining ALTEN Ltd, allows you to work for a leading engineering and technology consultancy, and play a pivotal role supporting one of the worlds most respected aerospace companies. This role offers the opportunity to work on next generation aerospace systems and support design and document control processes that underpin cutting edge power solutions. You will operate at the heart of project coordination between on site teams and ALTENs global delivery network, ensuring projects stay on track and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and expedite the review and approval of design documentation across multidisciplinary teams
• Liaise with engineering, quality, and compliance stakeholders to proactively manage workflow bottlenecks
• Work on client site in Derby, coordinating with ALTENs onshore and offshore teams
• Maintain and update document status logs and PowerBI dashboards for real time visibility
• Prepare and distribute weekly progress reports to project and programme management teams
• Support project planning and escalate risks or issues affecting project baselines

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience in project coordination, project control, or a similar role
• Strong organisational and communication skills in cross functional team settings
• Familiarity with document control processes, PLM systems, and regulated engineering environments
• Hands on experience with tools such as Excel, Kanbanize, PowerBI, SharePoint, or equivalents
• Prior experience in aerospace, defence, or engineering project environments is advantageous
