Location: Cardiff - Independently owned, multi-franchise dealership
Salary: £60,000 basic + on target earnings up to £75,000 (flexibility for accredited candidates)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

If you're an experienced Aftersales professional who knows how to run a busy, high-performing service department - this role has your name on it.

This is not a stepping-stone position. It's a senior opportunity within an independently owned, family-run dealer group with an annual turnover of £60m and a strong franchise portfolio. You'll be leading a team of 25, driving volume workshop throughput, and ensuring brand standards and customer experience remain first-class.

About the business

• Established for over 60 years, with multi-franchise workshops representing recognised brands.

• 11 workshop bays (including MOT), generating £1.6m labour revenue and £1.2m parts turnover annually.

What you'll be doing

• Full responsibility for Aftersales operations across service and parts

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of approx. 25 staff

• Ensuring brand compliance and manufacturer standards are consistently achieved

• Driving customer experience and satisfaction scores to the highest levels

• Overseeing labour and parts performance, analysing P&L and identifying profit opportunities

• Managing workflow, KPIs and performance across a high-volume environment

• Implementing and maintaining efficient systems and processes (experience with Keyloop Drive highly advantageous)

What we're looking for

• Main franchised dealer experience is essential

• Extensive Aftersales and Service Department management background

• Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to manage and develop teams

• Demonstrable success in improving customer experience scores

• Experience managing volume workshop throughput and multi-brand operations

• Commercially aware, with P&L and budget responsibility background

• VAG brand experience strongly preferred (though not essential)

The package

• Basic salary of £60,000

• OTE up to £75,000 (flexibility to increase for Vaccredited candidates)
