Job Description - Afterschool Nanny in Belsize Park - FILLED

A warm and welcoming family in Belsize Park is seeking a kind, caring, and experienced nanny to join them from April 2025 to help care for their wonderful 4.5 year -old daughter. If you're passionate about nurturing children and looking for a long -term role where you can truly become part of the family, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

About the Role:

This position primarily involves after -school care from Monday to Friday, 4:00 to 8:00 pm, with occasional babysitting or overnight stays (with notice and additional pay). During school holidays, flexibility and full -time care will be required, as both parents work full -time.

Your Responsibilities:

- Collecting the little girl from school at 4:00 pm and caring for her until 8:00 pm.

- Planning fun, age -appropriate activities to encourage her creativity and development.

- Accompanying her to after -school clubs and extracurricular activities, all within the local area.

- Preparing healthy snacks and meals as needed.

- Organising playdates and outings to support her social development.

- Providing full -time care during school holidays, including planning exciting activities and outings.

- Assisting with light household duties related to the child, such as tidying toys, managing her belongings, and keeping her laundry clean and organised.

- Ensuring her safety, happiness, and well -being at all times.

Requirements

About You:

The family is looking for a warm, organised, and creative nanny who will become an integral part of their lives. Ideally, you’ll:

- Have experience working with similar age children, or in a similar role.

- Be positive, compassionate, and child -focused, with excellent communication skills.

- Be able to establish and maintain a consistent routine and structure.

- Be reliable, flexible, and able to offer long -term commitment to the family.

While fluency in English is essential, the ability to speak Chinese or French is a bonus (but not a requirement). What matters most is the care, enthusiasm, and qualities you bring to the role.
