Agile Project Manager
Location:

Hybrid, 1-2 days per week in Swansea office
Employment Type:

Full-time

Unify is proud to be working with a rapidly expanding niche tech business who are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of an Agile Project Manager.

This is a Permanent role and the business is very flexible on work patterns and remote working however it would be great if you were able to join the team in the office for 1-2 days a week.

Job Summary:
The Agile Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end delivery of projects using agile methodologies. This role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Agile Project Manager will drive continuous improvement, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of agility within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:
Lead project planning sessions, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
Implement agile project management principles and methodologies to drive project success.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues to ensure timely delivery.

Stakeholder Management:
Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and project teams.
Communicate project updates, milestones, and dependencies effectively to all stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and manage expectations.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Empower team members, remove obstacles, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Risk Management and Problem-Solving:
Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively address challenges, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues as needed to ensure project success.
Encourage creative problem-solving and innovation within the project team.

Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.
Implement feedback loops and mechanisms for continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process enhancement.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience managing projects using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)) is a plus.
