The Role

You will work on a wide range of agricultural property matters and play an important part in supporting, maintaining, and growing a high-quality caseload. This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional with a genuine passion for agricultural law to grow their career in a specialist team with great prospects for development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a broad mix of agricultural work including:

  • Farm Business Tenancies and Agricultural Holdings Act Tenancies

  • Acquisition and sale of farms and rural property

  • Easements, transfers, and renewables-related property work

  • Auction packs, SDLT, Land Registry and Companies House submissions

• Act as a point of contact for clients and agents

• Promote the team’s expertise through marketing and business development activity

• Maintain accurate time records, ensure billing compliance, and manage financial performance of files

• Maximise cross-referrals with other teams and service lines

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive OR demonstrable experience in agricultural, residential, or commercial property

• Strong interest in or passion for agricultural law

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload

• Sound knowledge of AML regulations and the Solicitors Accounts Rules

• Confident using MS Office and case management systems

Desirable:

• Experience with Visual Files or SOS Connect

• Business development and marketing experience

• Strong presentation and public speaking skills

Details:

• Hours: 09:00 - 17:15, Monday to Friday (36.25 hours/week)

• Location: Flexible across any of our 8 office locations in Lincolnshire and the Midlands

• Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

• Travel: A full UK driving licence and access to a car is required
