Our client is seeking an experienced AI Enablement Lead to drive AI adoption and technical capability across a Technology function of more than 1,000 people within a large, international, organisation.
This is a hands-on coaching and upskilling role for someone who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to empower others. Rather than building AI solutions on behalf of teams, you will equip engineers, product teams and domain experts with the skills, knowledge and confidence to develop, deploy and govern their own AI solutions using the organisation’s internal AI platform.
You will play a key role in moving AI adoption from early experimentation to confident, everyday practice, ensuring security, data governance and compliance are embedded from the outset.
Key Responsibilities
*
Design and deliver practical, hands-on technical workshops where participants build and deploy working AI agents and solutions themselves.
*
Coach engineers and domain experts to identify valuable AI use cases, scope requirements and develop initial solutions independently.
*
Conduct AI opportunity assessments, identifying quick wins, opportunities requiring architectural support and use cases better suited to other disciplines.
*
Develop technical training materials covering RAG, AI agent design, prompt engineering and API integration, grounded in real business scenarios.
*
Provide live technical support, debugging and troubleshooting during workshops, helping participants develop their own problem-solving skills.
*
Embed security, data classification, human oversight, audit requirements and compliance into AI solution design from the beginning.
*
Train teams to navigate technology release processes independently, including documentation, governance checklists and production standards.
*
Identify gaps in processes, documentation and governance frameworks, working with Architecture, AI and platform teams to address them.
*
Support technical innovators throughout the AI use-case lifecycle, from opportunity identification and prototyping to escalation of complex builds.
*
Assess and route use cases appropriately, distinguishing between team-led agent builds, strategic technical projects and work requiring data science expertise.
*
Deliver workshops and best-practice guidance for coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor, as a secondary responsibility accounting for approximately 20% of the role when capacity allows.
