About Our Client:

Our client is seeking an experienced AI Trainer to deliver high-quality training and development programmes to apprentices undertaking AI apprenticeship standards.

The AI Trainer will combine a strong technical IT background with substantial experience delivering apprenticeship programmes. They will be responsible for supporting learners in developing both practical technical capabilities and the workplace skills required to succeed in their chosen careers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging, technically rigorous training across AI apprenticeships.

* Support apprentices in developing practical, job-ready technical skills.

* Plan and deliver learning sessions, workshops and practical activities.

* Assess learner progress and provide high-quality feedback, coaching and support.

* Work closely with employers, apprenticeship teams and other key stakeholders to support positive learner outcomes.

* Ensure training content remains current and relevant to developments in AI, data and emerging technologies.

* Support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey, helping them build the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to meet the relevant apprenticeship standard.

Essential Experience & Skills:

* Strong technical IT background, with demonstrable hands-on experience in areas such as software development, data, cloud, AI/ML or related technologies.

* Experience delivering AI, data or closely related apprenticeship programmes.

* Proven experience training, mentoring and assessing apprentices within an apprenticeship or work-based learning environment.

* Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, End-Point Assessment (EPA) and learner progression.

* Excellent communication, coaching and facilitation skills.

* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, practical and engaging learning experiences.

* Strong understanding of the skills and competencies required by employers within the AI and data sector.

About the Opportunity:

This is a technical training role rather than a generalist teaching position. Candidates must be able to demonstrate both substantial hands-on technical IT experience and solid experience delivering AI, data or closely related apprenticeship programmes.
