Position: Account Manager

About the Role - I am recruiting for a dynamic and customer-focused Account Manager to join my client's air cargo sales team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional service to freight forwarder customers, growing revenue, and maximising margins for their airline partners.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with freight forwarders and airline personnel. Conduct regular visits to key accounts in line with sales targets and KPIs.
Sales & Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contractual rates to improve market share and profitability. Lead the creation and review of pricing contracts and customer tenders.
Market Intelligence & Strategy: Use customer and market insights to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Permanent Bookings (PBs): Manage PB allocations, maintain accurate records, and optimize capacity usage through data-driven decisions.
Reporting & Administration: Maintain up-to-date sales reports, call plans, and customer activity logs. Provide timely and accurate reports to airline partners.
Team Support: Assist with reservations and internal sales communications during peak periods or team absences.
