Job Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an AC/HVAC Engineer to join our client's engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in air conditioning and HVAC maintenance who is looking to develop their career within a progressive and supportive organisation.

Working across a premium national retail contract, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, and servicing on a variety of HVAC and air conditioning systems.

The role includes travel across the UK on a planned rota basis. There is no expectation to be travelling nationwide continuously, with travel shared across the engineering team to support a healthy work-life balance. There is currently no on-call rota, although this may be introduced in the future as the contract evolves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of AC/HVAC systems.


• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.


• Complete all service reports and job documentation accurately using company systems.


• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations and company procedures.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with the client while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as an AC/HVAC Engineer within a commercial or retail environment.


• F-Gas Category 1 certification


• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of air conditioning systems.


• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work independently and travel across the UK on a planned rota basis.


• Full UK Driving Licence.
