Air Conditioning Sales Engineer

My client is a well established, Thames Valley based air conditioning and refrigeration contractor that specialise in installation, service, maintenance and repair on cooling equipment. They have been running for well over 30 years and can boast some very well known clients on their patch. Engineers stay with this company for a long time as there are some great opportunities for overtime and also internal progression.

They are recruiting for an Air Conditioning sales & Applications Engineer, you will be:-

• Office based 8am till 5pm, Monday to Friday as well as doing site visits to clients in and around the Thames Valley and London areas
• Selling a full range of full project installations for air conditioning and some refrigeration equipment
• In addition selling the service and maintenance contracts on top
• Meeting with clients on site to do site surveys, heat load calculations, selecting the equipment and helping with some basic design duties
• Working towards a first year target of 500-700k revenue

Salary and Benefits of a sales / applications engineer

• 40-45k basic salary
• Uncapped % bonus scheme - 5-10k OTE
• Car allowance
• Phone, lap top, 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

Skills Needed to be an air conditioning applications engineer:-

• Living within travelling distance to the office in Oxford
• Experience needed selling and site surveying for air conditioning and / or refrigeration equipment / full project installations
• Having design and AutoCAD experience would be beneficial but is not essential
