Air Export Coordinator

Right Now Group are working with a Large International Forwarder who are looking to expand their Gateway division. They are looking to bring on board a new Air Export Coordinator, ideally with experience working within Gateway before. You'll be part of a unit managing export shipments, with a focus on rate negotiation and relationship building.

Responsibilities of an Air Export Coordinator:

• Prepare and process all required export documentation for cargo transit
• Ensure timely completion of customs declarations and security screenings
• Issue check certificates and follow established standard operating procedures
• Create accurate accruals and respond to disruptions by recovering compromised route plans
• Negotiate spot rates, manage allocation changes, and drive process optimisation
• Support the safe and compliant build-up of Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and manage ULD inventory
• Maintain a safe working environment by addressing unsafe practices and ensuring adherence to ISO 45001 standards, along with safety policies and procedures

Requirements of an Air Export Coordinator:

• Experience working with carriers, ground handlers, and export gateways
• Proficiency in using freight management or transport systems (e.g. CargoWise or similar)
• Familiarity with HMRC export procedures and compliance regulations, including ETSF and aviation security standards
• Solid understanding of export documentation, including airway bills (AWBs)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Location: Feltham / Hounslow
Shift: Week 1 - Tuesday to Saturday (10am - 6.30pm) Week 2 - Monday to Friday (9am - 5.30pm)
