Based in South Manchester, our client prides themselves on delivering seamless air freight solutions to clients across the globe. As our client continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Air Freight Import & Export Clerk to join their dynamic team.

You’ll play a key role in managing the end-to-end air freight process for both imports and exports. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Handle full cycle air freight import and export operations
• Liaise with airlines, overseas agents, and customers to ensure timely and accurate shipments
• Prepare and process documentation including AWBs, customs entries, and invoices
• Track and trace shipments, resolving any issues or delays
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships

• Previous experience in air freight forwarding (import/export)
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office
• A team player with a can-do attitude and strong communication skills
