Air Import Clerk

Right Now Group are working with a Global Freight Forwarder based at LHR, who are looking to expand their Imports Team. They are looking for somebody with 360 Import Experience, who can join their Nights unit. The ideal candidate will have plenty of experience managing Import consignments from start to finish.

Reporting to the Air Freight Director, this individual will be expected to facilitate the movement of Freight into the country and manage the necessary documentation and forms for the most efficient and cost-effective execution.

Responsibilities:

• Managing Air Import Consignments from start to finish
• Communicating with customers and suppliers, in all relevant territories
• Liaising with the distribution and warehouse teams to ensure the movement of freight is swift and effective
• Ensure compliance is followed as per the CAA and customs regulations

Experience Required:

• Experience working within Air Import Operations
• Knowledge of relevant customs regulations and export documentation
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in relevant computer software's
• Problem-solving skills and a strong ability to work under pressure

Shift: 4 ON 4 OFF (6pm-6am)
Salary - £25,000 to £40,000
Location: Feltham/LHR
