(various levels) to join their growing Radio Frequency (RF) Seekers team, undertaking activities such as algorithm development and systems studies, offering you the opportunity to work on advanced technologies and create solutions in the field of Radio Frequency (RF) Seekers.

The

Algorithm Engineers

will be part of multiple Seeker programmes, including Future Cruise Anti-Ship Weapon (FC/ASW), contributing to the development of Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA) and highly integrated multi-mode sensors.
This is a truly unique opportunity, offering scope for fully supported innovation and technical skills growth. You will have the chance to get involved in a variety of systems tasks, driving the technical scope of the programmes.

You will be involved in a number of activities including many of the following:

Develop algorithms and ensure they are fit for purpose.
Conduct studies to identify any deficiencies and propose future changes.
Collaborate with individuals from various areas of expertise.
Integrate algorithms within complex Seeker models.
Undertake system studies and performance analysis.
Foster innovation, including the use of agile methods, process improvements, and machine learning/AI in our products.

To be considered for this role, applicants will need to be qualified to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline, with previous experience in :

Algorithm development
Identification, Planning and Running of investigations to inform systems design
Data analysis

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing
Technical report writing
Modelling and coding (significant experience of MATLAB and ideally Simulink)
Experience in forming hypotheses and creating the method to prove them.
Machine Learning and AI

Salary to circa £45-65k DOE plus benefits (bonus, pension, paid overtime, flexi leave, excellent site facilities)
Hybrid working (project dependent, typically 3 to 4 days per week on-site)
