We’re hiring an Allocation Lead to own and lead global allocation and replenishment strategy, supporting our retail estate across all regions and categories. This role is critical in driving full-price sales, availability, and inventory efficiency as Gymshark continues to scale globally.
You’ll move beyond execution into true ownership — shaping global allocation strategy, influencing in-season trade decisions, and acting as a trusted partner to Planning, Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Supply Chain teams worldwide. You’ll balance data-led decision making with strong commercial judgement to ensure inventory is positioned to meet customer demand across diverse markets, while supporting Gymshark’s long-term growth ambitions.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Allocation & Replenishment
You’ll work in close partnership with Planning and Merchandising to:
- Own allocation and replenishment strategy for your categories, from launch through end of life.
- Lead initial allocation decisions by department, class, style, colour, and size across all retail locations.
- Define and apply store grading, size curves, and replenishment logic to maximise productivity and availability.
- Proactively manage inventory risk through inter-store transfers, intake phasing, and replenishment exits.
- Lead allocation strategy for new store openings, expansions, and key commercial moments.
In-Season Management
You’ll be responsible for:
- Owning weekly trade reviews for your categories, providing clear insights, risks, and recommended actions.
- Partnering with Planning on forecast re-phasing, inventory positioning, and OTB conversations.
- Identifying missed demand and over-exposure early and driving corrective action.
- Ensuring sustained availability of core and replenishment styles in line with sales trends.
- Influencing markdown, promotional, and lifecycle decisions to protect margin and stock health.
Tools, Data & Process
You’ll also:
- Act as a subject matter expert on allocation tools, data, and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of allocation inputs across stock, sales, and store attributes.
- Drive continuous improvement of allocation processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Support testing, implementation, and adoption of new allocation and planning systems.
- Coach and support junior allocators, sharing best practice and raising overall team capability.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
This is a hybrid role and you must be able to attend the GSIQ, Solihull office, 3 days per week.
