cer Financial are working with a global financial Institution. They are growing and are looking for an ALM Manager who will be responsible for delivering key strategic objectives for the UK, German and Austrian markets.

The securitisation product is imperative to the profitability of the business - delivering both cost of funds and funds transfer pricing benefits as well as reducing the capital requirements of the business. In time, they expect the programme to grow significantly and reach approximately €5bn.

ALM are heavily involved in the management of the German deposits business. Currently, this a product that provide €1bn of funding. The role of ALM is to report, set target-funding ratios, pricing proposals and work on various strategic aspects of the product.

This role encompasses both of these key activities. Other activities that this role covers are:

• Model governance and the calculation of retail prepayment rate for the purposes of risk management and pricing
• The forecasting of ABS transaction and deposit cost

In addition to the role specifics, the successful candidate will be involved in other aspects of the ALM environment: ie Interest Rate and Liquidity Risk Management, Funds Transfer Pricing.

The Manager, ALM will have no direct reports but will manage the workflow of the deliverables of the team set by the Senior Manager and will have to interact with many stakeholders within our organization. This will deliver the strategic funding objectives set by the company.

The Manager will work with the Senior Managers in the ALM team and the Head of ALM with specific focus on the following: Securitisations & model management.

Previous experience, skills, education required:

• Treasury and/or Asset & Liability Management required
• Knowledge of Securitisation required
• Analytical capabilities, data manipulation and interpretation
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
