Amazing KS2 Opportunity - Vibrant Primary School

Role: KS2 Teacher / Full time / Part time (Monday & Tuesday)

Salary Range: MPS

This vibrant primary is looking for two KS2 Teachers for September. The role can be either full time or part time with 2 days per week (Mondays & Tuesdays).

Requirements for a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher

1. Educational Qualifications

• 
  Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject.


• 
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential

2. Experience

• 
  Entry-Level: Experience through student teaching placements.


• 
  Preferred: At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting, particularly within Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11).

3. Skills and Abilities

• 
  Subject Knowledge: Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, including core subjects like Mathematics, English, Science, and Humanities.


• 
  Classroom Management: Effective strategies for managing a classroom, maintaining discipline, and fostering a positive learning environment.


• 
  Assessment and Evaluation: Ability to assess students’ progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback and planning for differentiated instruction.


• 
  Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.


• 
  Technological Proficiency: Competence in using educational technology and integrating it into the curriculum.
