Job Description - Ambulance care assistant (Full Time)

As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you play a vital role in the provision of high -quality patient care and transportation services. Working in collaboration with healthcare professionals, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and comfortable transfer of patients to medical facilities. This role demands a compassionate, responsive, and highly organized individual committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey.
Securely and appropriately fasten patients and their belongings during transit.
Provide compassionate assistance to patients with varying mobility levels, ensuring their comfort and safety during transport.
Offer support to patients during the boarding and disembarking process.
Familiarize yourself with and operate medical equipment, ensuring its proper use and maintenance.
Secure and transport medical equipment as required for patient care.
Maintain clear and effective communication with healthcare professionals, emergency services, and other relevant parties.
Report any changes in patient condition or incidents promptly to the appropriate channels.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Ambulance Care Assistant or in a related healthcare role is advantageous.
Certification in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
Excellent knowledge of ambulance equipment and protocols.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in high -pressure and emergency situations.
Understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
