The Role:
We're working with a leading Law firm looking for an AML Analyst/Lawyer to join their team, who’s not just great at understanding regulations—but also confident working with AML data, spotting trends, and advising on risk.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to be more than a policy/document checker. You’ll be a key part of the compliance team, helping shape the way the firm handles client due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing AML obligations.

The role:

• Analyse AML/KYC data to detect patterns, gaps, or elevated risks across the client portfolio.
• Advise on complex AML issues in line with UK, EU, and international regulations.
• Support the ongoing development and implementation of AML and financial crime policies.
• Partner with internal teams to assess risk in client onboarding and matter management.
• Review and escalate unusual activity reports and support internal investigations.
• Draft and deliver AML guidance, reports, and internal training sessions.

About you?

• A qualified lawyer or experienced AML/compliance advisor
• Strong knowledge of UK AML regulations (US experience a bonus)
• Someone who enjoys digging into data and drawing out the story it tells
• Able to translate technical findings into clear, practical advice
• Great communicator who’s confident working across teams
• Experience in a law firm or similar professional services environment is ideal
