About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and driven Analyst to support a Portfolio Manager currently focused on G3 currencies (USD, EUR, JPY), with a view to expanding into the broader G10 rates space. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with exposure to G10 rates markets to contribute to the build-out of the strategy.

Responsibilities:

• You will work very closely with the Portfolio Manager on the day-to-day management focused on G10 rates positions, into the broader G10 rates space – particularly CHF, SEK, NOK, CAD, AUD, NZD and JPY.
• Generate and execute trade ideas across rates trades.
• Help build analytical tools for trade screening and idea generation (mainly on Excel and Python).
• Keep abreast of macro developments and the market implications.

• 2-5 years on a market making desk in an investment bank, focusing on one or more of these currencies (CHF, SEK, NOK, CAD, AUD, NZD and JPY).
• Graduate from a Top-Tier university, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Solid experience in building analytical models using both Python and Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a self-starter.
• Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• A keen eye for detail, a curious mindset, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Displays and operates at the highest degree of ethics and integrity.
