Join a leading company at the heart of the energy transition as an Analytical Chemist at our Fluids Analysis Centre. This role is perfect for both seasoned professionals and those starting their career in analytical chemistry, offering hands-on experience in a top-tier Oil & Gas analytical laboratory with a focus on Gas Chromatography (GC).

Day-to-day of the role:

• Perform analytical testing using a range of Gas Chromatography equipment for hydrocarbon gases and liquids.
• Apply robust analytical techniques with high accuracy, attention to detail, and a methodical, systematic approach.
• Conduct hands-on experimental work and contribute to method development and continuous improvement.
• Review, validate, and interpret data produced by other laboratories within our global network.
• Collaborate with international colleagues and, when required, travel to support laboratory activities across various regions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A degree or higher qualification in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline is essential.
• Experience with Gas Chromatography and hydrocarbon sample analysis is advantageous but not essential for junior applicants.
• Strong observational, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Openness to international travel to support our global laboratory network.
