We're looking for a talented Analytical Scientist to join our growing team in state-of-the-art laboratories in Moreton. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with customer scientists and lab leads, contributing to the analytical testing of drug substances, intermediates, and finished medicines in a regulated GMP environment.
Key Responsibilities
🔬 Analytical Testing & Laboratory Work
Plan and perform analytical testing in line withGMP requirements using: HPLC Karl Fischer Dissolution testing Additional analytical techniques as required Support analytical investigations and troubleshoot technical issues Contribute to method development, evaluation, and validation activities Ensure accurate, compliant documentation aligned with cGMP and ALCOA+ principles
âś… Quality, Compliance & Safety
Support audit readiness for regulatory inspections Adhere to all regulatory, statutory, and client-defined standards Maintain a strong focus on lab safety and compliance Proactively identify risks and implement solutions
🤝 Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with internal teams (Lab Leads, Quality, EHS, Compliance) Work collaboratively across Synergy and customer teams Represent Synergy professionally at all times
About You
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Hands-on experience with HPLC and other analytical techniques Proven experience working within a GMP laboratory environment

Strong team player with a customer-focused mindset Highly organised, with a proactive and results-driven approach Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to balance quality, safety, and delivery in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information
Flexibility may be required (e.g. early starts or adjusted hours) Role involves active lab work including periods of standing and light physical activity
