ANSUL ENGINEER

Location: Runcorn / UK-wide travel
Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Field-based / On-site

We are recruiting an experienced ANSUL Engineer to join a specialist fire protection business, working with customers across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fire suppression engineer with strong technical knowledge of ANSUL systems who is comfortable working independently at customer sites.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, inspection, servicing and maintenance of ANSUL fire suppression systems in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, industry standards and relevant safety requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Installing and commissioning ANSUL fire suppression systems
* Carrying out planned servicing, maintenance and system testing
* Diagnosing and resolving system faults
* Conducting site surveys and inspections
* Identifying remedial works and potential system upgrades
* Completing accurate service and maintenance documentation
* Ensuring work complies with relevant regulations and health & safety requirements
* Explaining system operation and technical requirements clearly to customers
* Maintaining tools and equipment to the required standard
* Providing a professional and courteous service at customer sites

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in fire suppression systems, ideally with strong knowledge of ANSUL systems.

You should have:

* Experience installing, servicing and commissioning fire suppression systems
* ANSUL system knowledge and experience
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Good mechanical and technical ability
* Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Good organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and manage UK-wide site visits
* A valid UK driving licence
* A strong commitment to health and safety

Relevant ANSUL training, fire protection qualifications or equivalent industry accreditations would be advantageous.

Experience within the wider fire safety industry and knowledge of relevant British Standards and regulations would also be beneficial.
