AOG Operator Nights

Right Now Group are looking for an AOG Operator to work for our client who are an expanding Freight Forwarder based near Heathrow. To provide an efficient and proactive service to all customers, overseas and related service providers. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling export entries in line with HMRC regulations, post-flight procedures, job file invoicing, and maintaining cost control.

You will also be expected to monitor urgent AOG updates, resolve customer and supplier queries efficiently, and adapt quickly to meet changing customer requirements.

Hours: 4 on 4 off (Nights), 19:00-07:00
Salary: £35,000-£40,000
Location: Feltham

Responsibilities of a Air AOG Operator:

• Monitor and action generic email boxes and respond in a timely manner.
• Arranging collection/delivery from/to vendors.
• Produce shipping documentation (Mawb's and Hawb's).
• Preparation of export/import entries in accordance with UK HMRC regulations.
• Post flights.
• Job file invoicing.
• Cost control.
• Action pending tray daily.
• Monitor live AOG updates.
• Adapt to customer requirements, look at alternative solutions.
• Ensure all queries and complaints are investigated and responded to promptly, both from external and internal customers / supplier.
• Ensure customer invoicing is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure all rates received are passed to the Team Leader.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of air freight operations and documentation (MAWB/HAWB)
• Understanding of UK HMRC export regulations
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and customer needs
• Experience with AOG handling and time-critical shipments
• Full 5 year reference-able history & DBS
