AOV Small works engineer

We are looking for an AOV Small Works Engineer to join our clients Operations & Small Works team. This is a field-based role delivering AOV and smoke-control remedial, upgrade and small installation works across London and the South East.

Location: London & South East- field based 
Salary: £55,000 DOE 
Monday - Friday with On call rota 

Key Responsibilities
Complete AOV and smoke-control remedial, upgrade and small installation works.
Install and replace actuators, control panels, power supplies, detectors, interfaces and associated equipment.
Carry out electrical alterations, cabling, containment and terminations.
Fault-find and assist with diagnosis, escalating complex issues where required.
Complete works in line with approved scopes, drawings and specifications.
Support testing and commissioning of completed works.
Record labour, materials, defects and completed works accurately.
Identify and report additional defects or remedial requirements.
Work safely and professionally in occupied residential and commercial properties.
Develop technical knowledge through manufacturer and specialist AOV training.About You
Practical experience in AOV, smoke control, electrical installation or small works.
Strong electrical installation and fault-finding skills.
Experience installing or repairing AOV/smoke-control equipment.
Relevant electrical qualifications and demonstrable competence.
Able to work independently and deliver high-quality work.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence.
