About the Role

We are seeking a driven and proactive AP Specialist to join our client’s fast-paced finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is a stand-alone role where you will be responsible for managing the full AP cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Processing all supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring timely and accurate posting

- Managing and maintaining the purchase order system, including regular communication with clinics/clubs to oversee approvals and goods receipts

- Performing regular supplier account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies

- Liaising with suppliers to respond to queries and maintain strong working relationships

- Preparing and reviewing payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time

- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox, triaging incoming emails and ensuring timely follow-up

Requirements:

- Experience in a multi-site business

- Strong understanding of purchase ledger processes and accounting principles

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Confident communicator – able to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders (e.g., SOMs, club/clinic managers)

- Proficient in accounting systems (Lightyear and Sage Intacct) and Excel
