Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and site safety rules; conduct regular safety tours and toolbox talks
Manage production scheduling in coordination with the site planning team
Support NPI activity and line trials for new product introductions
Conduct performance reviews, return-to-work interviews, and day-to-day people management for your team
Escalate maintenance and quality issues through appropriate channels and lead root cause analysis on recurring problems
Essential Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
Demonstrated experience leading teams of 20 or more in a fast-paced, multi-shift production setting
Practical working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles — 5S, Kaizen, OEE measurement, and waste reduction
A track record of delivering against production KPIs including OEE and waste targets
Strong people management skills with experience handling day-to-day HR matters including absence and performance
Sound understanding of health and safety responsibilities in a manufacturing environment; IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent is desirable
Comfortable working with production scheduling and basic ERP/MES systems

Experience in FMCG, food, automotive, or precision manufacturing
Familiarity with BRC, ISO, or TS16949 quality management systems
NEBOSH General Certificate
HND, degree, or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
Experience supporting NPI or capital project activity
