• Generate sales proposals in line with requests for quotation. This process may involve liaison with the sales contact, the customer, the Test Centre Manager and the Proposals Manager, to produce a compliant technical response.

• Interface with external suppliers to receive supporting OEM quotes

• Day to day involvement with the Proposals Team.

• Co-operation with the planning and scheduling of the Proposals Team to meet enquiry and support request deadlines.

• Liaison and interaction with the EMEA Food Team colleagues based throughout Europe

• Participation in the Food Team and overall EMEA sales meetings.

• On-going education, training and development in application and product knowledge.

• Familiarisation with current industry legislation.

• Use of in-house sales tools required to prepare quotations

• Participation in Sales/Engineering contract handover.

• Participation in Test activities as required.

• Participation in site visits as required.

Given the broad nature of the role, the candidate should have a good knowledge of general material handling and process equipment, ideally from within the Food sector. Additionally, it will be required to show a good understanding of material handling legislation (ATEX requirements and general Food industry compliance).
