Fujifilm Healthcare UK is looking for an Application Specialist working within the IVD Business Unit to provide effective and timely application support to existing customers, including technical assay and field service support, and to potential customers during product demonstrations and evaluations.

The role will ensure a smooth and seamless process for the customer, maximising their technical experience.

The role will also be responsible for maximising sales and upsell opportunities from existing accounts whilst managing the day to day operation and satisfaction of those customers with technical support and consumables orders.

The role will also be responsible for managing and delivering projects and programmes aimed at providing growth to the business in both the vet and human market segments, as directed and agreed with the IVD Business Unit Manager.

Preferably the candidate will be located in the Central / South West of England and be happy with travel throughout the UK (approx 50%) Key Responsibilities: Identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts in both vet and human direct market segments Delivery of projects to provide the above, as agreed with the IVD Business Unit Manager Working with SFDC, updating and maintaining accurate account details and technical support activity and resolutions Attend trade shows at the request of the IVD Business Unit Manager Working with and support the IVD Business Manager and Account Managers with new business opportunities, liaising and co-ordinating with direct customers and 3rd party distributors where required Time spent in the field to develop product / market knowledge and ultimately delivering product demonstrations to prospective customers Support existing customers queries both technically and commercially React to customer complaints promptly and, where possible, resolve their issues, escalating when required Support internal stakeholders with day to day operational tasks What you'll need: A background in Biomedical Science/Chemistry Effective communication skills and confident in delivering presentations Self-motivated, pro-active individual Excellent customer focus and attention to detail Ability to make use of IT tools to enhance communication and fast business processes (MS Office: primarily excel and powerpoint; email, Salesforce.com, production of reports and documents) Organised and structured approach to work We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome all applicants for employment without attention to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability status.
