We're seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as a Pre-Sales Applications Engineer. This is an exciting first step into a commercial engineering role for someone who loves solving problems and interacting with people.

This isn't a typical desk job. You will be the crucial link between their cutting-edge robotic solutions and their clients' needs, helping bring innovative automation to life. You'll quickly become a 'guru' in the products, understanding their capabilities inside and out. Your role involves supporting our field sales team, taking inbound sales calls, and providing essential pre-sales technical support.

What You'll Be Doing as an Applications/Pre-Sales Engineer

• You'll work closely with our sales team and clients to understand their unique challenges and identify how our robots can provide the perfect solution.
• This involves examining detailed technical requirements and proposing customised solutions that address their specific needs.
• You'll have the chance to showcase the power of their robotics through compelling demonstrations and presentations, both virtually and in person.
• Your ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly will be key to your success.
• You will also provide vital technical support throughout the sales process, answering client queries, assisting with proposals, and building strong, lasting relationships.

Who We're Looking For as an Applications/Pre-Sales Engineer

• A recent graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
• A natural communicator with a confident and engaging personality. You should be comfortable talking to new people and building rapport effortlessly.
• Someone with resilience and a proactive attitude. You aren't afraid to tackle challenges and contribute actively to sales activities.
• A genuine interest in robotics and automation, coupled with a strong desire to learn and grow in this exciting field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• The ability to explain complex technical information in an easy-to-understand way.
• Some experience with CAD software would be a valuable bonus.
• If you drive, that will also be a massive bonus.
