This role would suit an Applications Engineer with several years of experience in power systems, particularly substation protection, looking to develop their career within a customer-facing technical role involving training, technical support, product development and international travel.
The role:
Provide product consultation, training and technical support on protection testing and diagnostic equipment Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site customer support relating to applications Develop and deliver product training through classroom sessions, field-based training and webinars Provide input into new products, product strategies, development and application requirements Develop application notes and technical papers and present at relevant seminars and conferencesThe person:
Applications Engineer or similar Several years of experience within power systems, particularly substation protection Basic understanding of IEC 61850 Flexible and willing to travel internationally, with up to 50% travelReference: BBBH27407
