Apprentice Assistant Merchandiser

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Assistant Merchandiser to join our Commercial team.

As an Apprentice Assistant Merchandiser you will the opportunity to gain a qualification whilst starting you career within our commercial team based in Horwich, Bolton. The role offers Hybrid flexibility with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting in all aspects of the Merchandising process
• Work with the Merchandiser on actions based from the WSSI (Weekly Sales and Stock Intakes)
• Liaise with the Buyer and Merchandiser to establish the range and stock plans
• Analyse lines to ensure correct replenishment levels
• Identify opportunities and risks from reviewing sales figures
• Analyse the rate of sale to identify lines for markdown and promotion
• Aid in the purchase of in-season buys and clearance

What we are looking for:

• Proven numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Great IT skills, particularly within Microsoft Excel
• Communication skills
• Previous experience working within a commercial team (desirable)
