A well-established insurance brokerage just outside of Stockport is offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join their team as an Apprentice Commercial Insurance Account Handler. You'll earn while you learn, gain industry-recognised qualifications (CII), and get real-world experience from day one!

You’ll be joining a supportive team that values effort, attitude and potential. If you work hard and show the right mindset, you’ll have a clear path to progress into bigger roles and more responsibility.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting Account Handlers with managing business insurance for a range of smaller companies.
• Speaking with clients, insurers, and your colleagues - in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Learning how to deal with renewals, new business, and everything in between.
• Handling admin tasks and making sure everything is accurate and up to date.
• Studying for your Apprenticeship and working towards your CII qualification (with full support).

What we’re looking for:

• A confident communicator who’s comfortable talking to people of all levels.
• Someone with a positive attitude, great work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
• Good grades in Maths and English (GCSE level or equivalent).
• Some customer service or people-facing experience (part-time work or volunteering is great).
• IT savvy and comfortable using email, Word, and basic systems.
• Down-to-earth and reliable - someone who wants to build a career, not just a job.
• You must live locally or have a driving licence and your own transport due to office location.
