Our client is recruiting for an Apprentice
Data Administrator
to join their team in Peterborough, March.

 

The Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship
programme that we are offering, will allow you to kick-start your career
in an industry that is constantly evolving, dynamic and transformational.

The Position

Monday to Friday
8:30 – 5pm

Salary:

£21,000

 

Summary

 

The Data Administrator plays a key role in ensuring accurate, reliable,
and accessible reporting across the business. This role is responsible for maintaining
data quality, supporting day-to-day reporting operations, and translating
complex information into clear outputs for both technical and non-technical
stakeholders. Acting as the link between internal teams, suppliers, and
clients, the Data Administrator ensures that data is consistent, milestones are
met, and insights are delivered effectively. This position is ideal for someone
who enjoys problem-solving, has strong attention to detail, and is eager to
grow their technical and reporting skills in a collaborative environment.

 

Duties
and Responsibilities:

·       Ensure
our reporting runs smoothly by supporting day-to-day operations and identifying
areas for improvement.

·       Investigate
and resolve data inconsistencies, helping to increase the accuracy and
reliability of business insights.

·       Communicate
findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders, making complex information easy
to understand.

·       Manage
and action incoming instructions from external clients.

·       Provide
general IT support to the team, from Excel troubleshooting to helping with
formulas.

·       Collaborate
with suppliers to align incoming data with internal systems.

·       Work
closely with design teams to ensure changes are captured correctly and are
commercially aligned.

·       Input
finance data into supplier tools when required.

·       Oversee
and manage the Document Information Pack (DIP) for all programmes.

·       Drive
accurate data handovers to design and build teams, ensuring key milestones are
met.


Desired
Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:


Essential:

·       Confident
with Excel formulas and reporting tools.

·       Strong
communication skills to liaise across technical and non-technical teams.

·       Ability
to organize, prioritize, and maintain accuracy under pressure.

·        Basic PowerPoint knowledge for presenting
data.

 

Desirable:

·       VBA or
Power BI experience.

·       Telecoms
industry knowledge.
