Apprentice IT Systems Engineer | North Shields NE30 | 37.5 hours a week | £20,000 - £22,000 salary depending on experience

The Apprentice IT Systems Engineer position is an exciting role within the technical support department and will involve the successful applicant splitting their time between providing as providing remote support from the One IT Support office as well as onsite support for a variety of clients.
To succeed in this role, you will have a passion for IT and providing high-energy customer service to client personnel, all the way up to director level. You will be a dedicated and reliable IT Engineer with a minimum of half a year professional experience in a similar role, or other outstanding personal experience.
This role will be primarily based in the North Shields office with some visits to client sites, primarily in the North East of England, but occasionally further afield. Mileage is covered at 45p per mile in your own vehicle.

What will your role as an Apprentice IT Systems Engineer look like?
• Responding to support requests via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues primarily remotely but also onsite as required
• General user and account administration
• Building, upgrading, and repairing hardware both onsite and in our fully equipped workshop
• Helping keep a tidy and safe working environment
• Assisting other staff in project work
• Organising and tracking stock
• Working with other engineers on site, both completing
• Other duties as assigned by management
Due to the nature of the role a full enhanced DBS will be carried out.
