Approved Electrician

About the role [Company] is an electrical contractor working on [commercial / industrial / residential] projects, including EV charging and solar PV installations. We need an Approved Electrician to install, test and certify high-quality electrical work.

What you will do

* Install, maintain and repair electrical systems to BS 7671

* Carry out inspection, testing and certification of installations

* Read and work from drawings and specifications

* Supervise and support electricians and apprentices on site

* Fault-find on lighting, power, distribution and control circuits

* Work safely and follow site health and safety rules

What you need

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation and AM2 (or equivalent)

* 18th Edition (BS 7671) and Inspection and Testing (2391 or equivalent)

* JIB Gold Card at Approved Electrician grade, or able to obtain it

* Experience on commercial or industrial sites

* Full UK driving licence

Nice to have

* EV charge point or solar PV installation experience

* IPAF or PASMA tickets

* Experience supervising small teams
