AR Manager

As an AR Manager you will be required to oversee the accounts receivable process and manage financial operations with precision and efficiency.

Description

• Manage the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports for senior management.
• Supervise and guide a small team within the accounts department.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise billing processes.
• Monitor and manage aged debt, implementing effective credit control measures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes where necessary.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and credit control practices.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external clients.
