A leading arts and events organisation is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance team on a contract basis initally for 6 months, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This hire is business-critical, as the team is heading into a busy events period and needs someone who can hit the ground running.

You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end AR process, working across multiple legal entities and currencies, while liaising closely with both internal teams and an outsourced shared service centre. This is an ideal opportunity for someone confident managing tight deadlines, navigating complex B2B relationships, and thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the sales ledger process across three legal entities
• Oversee billing, reconciliations, and credit control across GBP and USD accounts
• Coordinate with an outsourced shared service centre (based in India) to support AR processing and bank reconciliations
• Assist with monthly reconciliations, cash flow planning, and internal business reporting
• Liaise with galleries and external partners, managing complex stakeholder relationships with professionalism and patience
• Support the wider finance team with control processes and general accounting tasks
• Maintain high accuracy when working to tight deadlines

About You:

• Strong experience in accounts receivable, reconciliations, and credit control
• Confident handling multi-currency transactions (GBP & USD)
• Clear and professional communicator who can liaise across multiple departments
• Calm and resilient when dealing with hard-to-reach or demanding stakeholders
• Background in B2B environments—ideally within events, media, or creative industries
• Proficient in Excel; SAP knowledge is a bonus but not essential
