Salary: Circa £40,000 - £41,000, rising to £46,000 - £48,000 after 3 months
Working Hours: 3 Shift Pattern (Days/Backs/Nights), moving to a 4 on, 4 off Continental Shift Pattern after training.
Commutable from: Edinburgh, Livingston, Dunfermline and surrounding areas.

First Achieve's Engineering Division are recruiting for an experienced Welder to join a global manufacturing leader.

Following an initial three-month training period on a rotating days/backs/nights shift pattern, you'll move onto a 4 on, 4 off continental shift pattern, increasing your salary to circa £46,000 - £48,000 per annum.

The Role

Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality welded components to exact engineering standards using a range of welding processes.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out MIG, TIG and ARC welding on a variety of metal components and fabrications.
Assemble and weld components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and customer standards.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
Follow all health, safety and quality procedures.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Welder within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Experience with MIG, TIG and ARC welding.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Welding qualifications or a relevant apprenticeship are essential
Flexible approach to shift working.
