Architect

Konker is recruiting for an Architect to join a long-established and design-led architecture practice based in Preston.

Approaching 100 years, the practice is entering an exciting new chapter, currently rebranding, enhancing its digital presence, and preparing for a landmark anniversary in 2026.

The studio is looking to appoint one, possibly two, Architects.

This team is known for delivering high-quality commercial architecture across the education, industrial, and science & research sectors. They don't typically work in mass housing or high-rise residential.

An Architect joining this practice can expect to take an immediate hands-on role in ongoing projects, working collaboratively in a close-knit and experienced team.

To Be Considered: Architect / Senior Architect

• Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to be office-based in Preston 5 days a week (no remote or hybrid options)
• Strong commercial project experience
• ARB Registered
• A proactive, collaborative approach and a keen eye for detail

Salary for this Architect / Senior Architect position is between £35K-£45K, depending on previous experience.
