Lead and manage Principal Designer responsibilities under Building Regulations Review designs for technical compliance and provide guidance to project teams Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure regulatory adherence Produce reports, risk assessments, and documentation required for approvals Provide practical design advice on safety, accessibility, sustainability, and performance Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practices Support and mentor junior team members where appropriateIdeal Candidate:
Qualified architect with demonstrable experience in Building Regulation Principal Designer duties Strong knowledge of technical compliance requirements in the built environment Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Able to work independently and collaboratively within a medium-sized team Enthusiastic about contributing to a supportive, creative, and inclusive office culture in Chichester
