We are looking for a talented ARB Registered Architect with experience delivering culture, civic, and public sector projects to join our design team. This is an opportunity to contribute to projects that have a lasting social and cultural impact, from museums and galleries to libraries, community buildings, performance venues, and civic spaces.
You will work collaboratively across all RIBA work stages, helping to develop innovative, sustainable, and technically robust design solutions while engaging with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of cultural and civic projects across all RIBA stages. Develop design concepts that respond to complex briefs, heritage contexts, and community needs. Produce high-quality architectural drawings, models, presentations, and technical documentation. Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams and manage project information. Participate in client meetings, workshops, and public stakeholder engagement. Support planning, listed building consent, and statutory approval processes where applicable. Ensure projects are delivered to programme, budget, and quality expectations. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture. Champion sustainable design principles and low-carbon solutions throughout the design process.

You will be a creative and technically capable architect who enjoys designing meaningful public buildings and places.
Essential
ARB Registered Architect. 5+ years' post-Part 3 experience. Proven experience on cultural, civic, education, heritage, or public-sector projects. Strong design portfolio demonstrating concept through technical delivery. Experience across multiple RIBA stages, ideally Stage 2-6. Excellent Revit proficiency and BIM coordination experience. Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes. Experience coordinating consultants and managing project packages. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
